Girls Prep Highlights: Northfield slips past Berkshire

Northfield

– Goals by Nicole Unsworth, Alison Canney and Stephanie Voge, and 37 saves from Amanda Aalto, powered Northfield Mt. Hermon to a 3-2 win over Berkshire.

– Six different players – Danielle Peterson, Marlee Patterson, Julianna Gong, Emma Viens, Caroline Peterson and Lindsey Dumond – each had a goal in St. Mark’s 6-2 win over Middlesex.

Missy Segall
Rivers

– Phillips Andover doubled up Lawrence Academy, 4-2, in a battle of two D1 Top 10 teams. Lily Feeney and Charlotte Welch each had two goals for the Big Blue.

– Rivers had a big 3-1 win over BB&N with goals from Missy Segall, Casey Cunningham and Camille Phelan.

Annie Berry
Tabor

– Two goals from Kelly Browne and one from Annie Berry were enough for Tabor to take down St. George’s, 3-0.

– Cushing picked up a 2-0 win over Hotchkiss. Blossom Truel and Ally Frechette had the goals for the Penguins.

Kiersten Goode scored two goals to power Kent to a 5-0 win over Pomfret. Meara Burns, Julia Nearis and Jesse Devito also scored goals for the Lions.

– A third period goal from Jenna Greenbaum snapped a 1-1 tie and gave Deerfield a 2-1 win over Choate. Meghan Halloran also had a goal for the Big Green.

Tilton

– Loomis Chaffee used goals from Linda Essery and Jessica Schryver to slip past Taft, 2-1.

Julie Surgenor had two goals, and Mia Brown, Natalie Whitehead and Mikah Baptiste one each to lead Kimball Union to a 5-1 win over Vermont Academy.

– Tilton had a nice 3-2 win over Brooks in Division 2 with goals from AnnMargaret DiSciscio, Ashlyn Brown and Tia Raspante.
