Girls Prep Highlights: New Hampton Surprises St. Paul’s; Cushing Picks Up Win Over Lawrence Academy

* New Hampton picked up a signature win, defeating #5 St. Paul’s 5-2. Maddie Young and Julia Pellerin each contributed a pair of goals, and Emma Robertson added an empty-net tally to seal the deal.

Brooke Rogers

*  With goals from Brooke Rogers, Carly Stefanini, Brianna O’Neil and Lucy Adams, Brooks beat Holderness, 4-1.

* Skyler Irving‘s hat trick powered #3 Tabor past Middlesex, 5-1.

* Williston blanked Choate, 3-0. Providing the offense for the Wildcats were Ava DeCoste, Julia Constantinople and Bryn Saarela.

* Liv Angioletti, Emma Blanchette and Abby Hornung each contributed a goal in Berkshire’s 3-1 win over Pomfret.

* Westminster shaded Deerfield, 3-2, Taylor Adams, Meg Rittenhouse and Abby Munger all scored for the Martlets.

Sam Taber

* Two goals from Sam Taber and single tallies by Shea Verrier, Lily Brazis and Maddie Biondi led Cushing to a 5-1 win over Lawrence Academy.

* #2 Kent used its well-balanced scoring attack to down Canterbury, 7-1. Aylah Cioffi had two goals and Mina Exnerova, Millie Sirum, Maddie Crowley-Cahill, Taylor Jeffrey and Lulu Landsman each scored once.

* A third period goal by Abby Weiss allowed Rivers to salvage a 3-3 tie with Worcester Academy. Rylie Glennon and Jenna MacDonald also had goals for the Red Wings.

* Goals by Maddy McCaffery and Claire Weber were enough for Thayer to skate past Governors’ Academy, 2-0.
