Girls Prep Highlights: Kent returns in a big way

* After a two-week layoff due to campus flooding, Kent returned to action and didn’t miss a beat, cooling off Taft with a 4-2 win. Julia Nearis, Millie Rose Sirum, Jesse DeVito and Kiersten Goode each had a goal for the Lions.

Loomis Chaffee

* Anna Hurd had two goals and Cali Stevens added another as Loomis Chaffee blanked Greenwich Academy, 3-0.

* Williston got goals from Katelyn Holmes, Tori Palumbo and Brianna Haviland in a 3-3 tie with Hotchkiss.

Izzy Frenette

* Izzy Frenette scored twice and McKenzie Shandley, Kiley Robles and Kiley Mastel each had one goal as Winchendon handed D2 #1 Vermont Academy its second straight loss, a 5-2 decision.

* Courtney Hyland of Nobles and Gaby Roy of St. Paul’s traded goals in their teams 1-1 standoff.

* Teagan Canning had the lone goal and Caroline Kukas had 25 saves as Brooks played to a 1-1 tie with Dexter Southfield.

Phillips Exeter

* Phillips Exeter rolled to a 6-1 win over Hebron. Jill Cloonan led the attack with two goals, while Lydia Anderson, Ally Decoste, Emma Watson and Kathryn Kester each had a goal.

* Nicole Unsworth, Ally Nolan, Ellie Fellows, Alicia Canney and Suzanna Toledo-Colman all scored in Northfield Mt. Hermon’s 5-0 win over Pomfret.

* Jordan Hower had both goals to lead Hill School to a 2-1 win over Gunnery.

* Anna Bargman had a hat trick and Charlotte Welch also scored in Phillips Andover’s 4-1 win over Deerfield.
