Girls Prep Highlights: Andover picks up big win over Loomis Chaffee

* In what could be a playoff preview, Rivers got two goals from Jenna Letterie and one each from Kasey Cunningham and Kaitlin Shaughnessy in a 4-2 win over Worcester Academy. Ciara Wall and Morgan Mordini had goals for the Hilltoppers.

* In a must-win situation, Phillips Andover defeated Loomis Chaffee 3-1 with goals from Charlotte Welch, Elizabeth Holubiak and Elizabeth Welch.

McKinley Karpa
Taft

* Athena Papatonis stopped 30 shots and Caroline Peterson had the lone goal in St. Mark’s 1-0 win over Brooks.

* Taft downed Berkshire 5-1. Morgan Trimper had two goals for the Rhinos, while Kate Cornelio, McKinley Karpa and Lexi Cafeiro each had one.

* Lily Humphrey and Lauren DeBlois each had a hat trick in New Hampton’s 7-0 win over Berwick Academy. Caelin Flaherty also had a goal.

* Kimball Union knocked off D1 New Hampton 2-0 thanks to goals from Mikah Baptiste and  Colleen Donoghue, and shutout goaltending from Maddie Long.

* Julia Nearis had a hat trick and Tina Paolillo scored twice as Kent cruised to a 9-0 win over Gunnery.

* In Rivers 3-1 win over Lawrence Academy, Kaitlin Shaughnessy scored all three goals for the Red Wings.
