There is no change at the top of the HNIB News Girls Division I Prep Top 10 poll, as #1 Nobles (10-0-0) continues to chug along. The Bulldawgs rolled to the Harrington Tournament championship over the weekend, knocking off St. Mark’s, Pomfret, and Lawrence Academy before downing Westminster, 3-0, in the title game.

Nobles’ ISL rival – #2 St. Paul’s – has a 9-0-0 record heading into the holidays, thanks to a championship at its own holiday tournament over the weekend, beating Northfield Mt. Hermon in the final.

Choate moves up from #4 to #3. The Wild Boars remain unbeaten at 6-0-2 as they pocketed the title at the Patsy Odden Tournament, winning several close games, including a 2-1 overtime win in the final over Kent.

#4 Westminster played well at the Harrington Tournament, only to come up short against Nobles in the title game.

#5 Tabor is off to a 6-1-1 start and is off a good showing at the Patsy Odden Tournament.

Newcomers to the poll are #6 Pomfret and #7 Kent, both looking to make a lot of noise this winter.

The duo - Lance LoFaro and Darby Yaeger - called the nightly broadcasts "Hockey Night in Boston". As of late, HNIBnews - over 30 years running - has kept the scholastic hockey world on its feet with its widely-read website HNIBnews.com. In addition to HNIBnews, Hockey Night in Boston runs MassHSHockey.com, and also hosts summer tournaments showcasing the talents of scholastic hockey.
