Girls Prep School hockey will swing back into full-time action this week. There were some games over the past 10 days but nothing to change the order of this week’s HNIB News Girls D1 Prep Top 10

#1 Tabor (8-0-1) has been off from game play since December 20th, so hard to take them out of the top spot. The Seawolves have an intriguing matchup Wednesday travelling to D2’s #1 club – Brooks. They then face New Hampton on Saturday.

In one of the biggest recent games, #2 Nobles (9-0-2) edged #4 Kent (7-2-0) 2-1 in overtime. The Bulldawgs also had a 5-1 decision over Dexter Southfield. They will take on D2 power Rivers Monday, Middlesex on Wednesday and Berkshire Saturday.

#3 St. Paul’s (10-1-1) returned to action hosting Mid-Atlantic heavies Lawrenceville and Hill School this past weekend, emerging victorious in both with one-goal wins (2-1 over Lawrenceville, 4-3 over Hill). The Pelicans will see two Top 10 clubs this week, taking on #9 BB&N Wednesday and #7 Phillips Andover on Saturday.

Despite the loss to Nobles, Kent stays at #4 (The Lions other loss was to #1 Tabor). The Lions continue their tough stretch hosting #6 Loomis Chaffee (5-2-3) on Wednesday, then get their shot at Lawrenceville on Saturday.

#5 Williston (9-1-1) won top honors at the Winchendon New Years Tournament then earned a 2-2 tie Saturday with Stanstead College. A busy week for the Wildcats sees them face off with Berkshire (Wednesday), St. Mark’s (Friday) and Gunnery (Saturday).

Loomis Chaffee posted weekend wins over Milton Academy (4-3) and Berkshire (4-0) and will be ready for Kent Wednesday. Hotchkiss will be the opponent on Saturday.

Andover (4-1-2) has not played a prep game in over three weeks and they get back into the fire Monday hosting Brooks before getting ready for the big St. Paul’s tilt.

#8 New Hampton (7-2-0) doubled up Cushing (6-3). The Huskies face Holderness Monday and host BB&N Saturday before welcoming Tabor to town Saturday.

#10 Phillips Exeter (5-1-2) hosts Worcester Academy on Wednesday and will be at Deerfield Saturday.
