No. 1 Keene (17-1-1) completes the regular season on top of the final HNIB New Hampshire D2 Top 10 poll. The Blackbirds, who fell in last year’s State title game, are focused on changing that narrative this winter.

Unbeaten since an opening night loss to St. Thomas Aquinas, they extended their NHIAA winning streak to 12 games with lopsided wins against Goffstown (8-2) and Spaulding (11-2) in the final week.

No. 2 Windham (19-3-0) is well positioned to make good on its pre-season goal of doing something memorable in its final season before moving to Division One. The Jaguars extended their winning streak to eight games with a 5-2 decision of Goffstown in their finale.

No. 3 Goffstown stays in place despite the closing losses to Keene and Windham. The Grizzlies knocked off No. 9 Merrimack earlier in the week.

No. 4 St. Thomas Aquinas opened the week by dumping Dover, 5-3, to sweep the season series from their in-town rival; then finished up with wins against No. 10 Portsmouth/Newmarket and No. 6 Lebanon/Stevens.

No. 5 Dover (15-5-1) recovered from the loss to STA – that snapped the Green Wave’s seven-game winning streak – to shut out Winnacunnet.
