No.1 Lewiston needed double overtime to cap the perfect season with a 2-1 victory over Scarborough in the state championship game. In the semifinals they defeated South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete 5-1 and Bangor 6-0 in the quarterfinals.

No. 2 Scarborough got to the state championship with a 6-2 win over Portland/Deering in the quarterfinals and by holding off No. 7 seed Edward Little 3-2 in triple overtime

The No. 3 Red Riots of South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete defeated Thornton Academy in the quarterfinals 5-4 before falling to Lewiston in the semifinals.

No. 4 St. Dom’s had a stellar regular season winning their last eight games but fell to rival Edward Little in the quarterfinals 1-0 who also entered the game on an eight-game winning streak.

No. 5 Edward Little playoffs started with a 4-0 victory over Biddeford/Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach in the prelims before the win over the defending Class A champions St. Dom’s. The Cinderella run ended in the semifinals with the triple overtime loss to Scarborough.

No. 6 Thornton Academy opened the playoffs with an 8-1 victory over Marshwood/Traip/Sanford/Noble in the prelims before falling to the Red Riots in the quarterfinals.

No. 7 Portland/Deering defeated Lake Region/Fryeburg/Oxford Hills 3-1 in the prelims before falling to Scarborough in the quarterfinals 6-2.
