Winner of seven in a row to end the season, Guilford tops the HNIB News final Connecticut Division II Top 10 after winning the CIAC tournament over No. 2 Watertown/Pomperaug. That avenged two regular-season losses to W/P.

No. 3 New Fairfield/Immaculate, No. 4 Farmington Valley and No. 5 South Windsor all defeated No. 6 East Haven in the second half of the season and beyond, South Windsor’s coming in the state quarterfinals to move on before falling to Guilford. No. 7 Westhill/Stamford had a consistent year before falling to No. 10 Branford , 6-2-1 in its last nine, in the first round of the tournament.

No. 8 Conard, like South Windsor, played a tough schedule competitively, and No. 9 Cheshire, even with some ups and downs, still posted some big wins.
