A former sportswriter and news editor at the Woburn (MA) Daily Times Chronicle, he has been the HNIB News' key reporter for Mens Prep School hockey since 1988, as well as womens hockey, both at the prep school and high school levels. for almost 20 years. Kimball Union spend a good portion of the regular season ranked in the top spot in the HNIB News Boys Prep Top 15, but due to a pair of losses down the stretch, entered the Elite Tournament in the #4 spot.

But, the Wildcats got it done in the post-season, winning three straight to take home the school’s first Elite Tournament championship. And with that, KUA gets the #1 spot in the Final Boys Prep poll.

It was a great season for #2 Rivers (24-5-2), which one the Eberhart Division title and reached the Elite Tournament championship game.

#3 Dexter (22-4-3) got to the Elite Tournament semifinal round, and battled KUA hard before falling 2-1.

#4 Phillips Exeter (23-7-1) knocked off the top seed in the Elite Tournament in the quarterfinal round, beating #5 Lawrence Academy (21-5-2), the Keller Division champions.

Large School Tournament champion Avon Old Farms (17-6-4) finishes the season at #6. Small School Tournament champion Pomfret (16-8-4) closes the season at #11.
