#1 Bishop Hendricken finished on top of the Rhode Island world with its sweep of LaSalle in the Division 1 championship. They were the top team for the regular season and more than proved it in the postseason.

#2 LaSalle was certainly no slouch battling Hendricken in the finals and finishing with a solid 16 wins.

#3 Mount St. Charles saw the end of the era with the Belisles, the legend Bill and son Dave,  retiring from the coaching ranks. The Mounties finished with a respectable 17 wins.

#4 Cumberland had a season for the ages in Division 2, finishing with its state title. Its only loss came in an epic overtime championship battle in Game 2. Speaking of that overtime battle, it was #5 PSW that gave Cumberland all it could handle in that final series. The team finished with 16 wins.

#6 Ponaganset beat Portsmouth, 2-0, to get to the semis before bowing to finalist PSW.

#7 Smithfield swept Burrillville before being ousted by Hendricken in the semis.

#8 Cranston West made it a clean sweep of RMR in the quarterfinals but ran into Cumberland in the semifinals. Still, a fine winning season for Cranston.

#9 RMR had a winning record and naturally next season would like to improve on its first-round tourney exit.

#10 Pilgrim won the state title in Division 3 for the second straight season and finished with a division-leading 16 victories.
