No 6 Staples/Weston/Shelton has put together a couple of good weeks, winning four out of five after a season-opening defeat. It has two wins over No. 9 NFA/St. Bernard/Bacon Academy, which beat a couple of lower-rung Division II teams this week.

No, 7 Woodstock Academy took its first loss against No. 6 Staples, but the Centaurs came back with a win over No. 8 Hall/Southington, snapping the latter’s nascent two-game winning streak.
