– Dylan Bankowski’s second-period goal ultimately proved the difference as Notre Dame-West Haven edged Darien 3-2 in a rematch of last season’s Division I final. Connor Crowley made 26 saves for the Knights, including 10 in the third period. With Darien (8-1-3) losing, just one unbeaten team remains: North Haven (12-0).
– Senior Nikolai Naydenov had three goals, Nick Oliveri and Sean Lengyel each scored two and Cole Johnson contributed three assists, as Wilton beat Fox Lane (N.Y.) 7-4 for its fourth straight win. Devin Oliveri added 15 saves for the Warriors, who improved to 4-8. That came on the heels of a 3-2 victory over Staples, in which sophomore Nick Eberhart registered a goal and two assists. Johnson and Naydenov both scored, as did Cooper Paul and Nikos Ninios for Staples.
– Newington Co-op improved to 10-1 with a 7-2 rout of Rocky Hill. Mike Deegan recorded two goals and a pair of assists, while Declan Pryzbek notched his varsity goal.
– Nathan Margerum shut out Trumbull 4-0, helping Westhill/Stamford bounce back in a big way from its 6-3 loss to FCIAC foe New Canaan. Doster Crowell contributed two goals and two assists for New Canaan.
– Junior Sean Rigby scored twice as Ridgefield beat St. Joseph 5-1 for its fourth victory in five games.
– It was a milestone night for Sheehan sophomore Max Festa, who had three goals and four points, including the 100th of his high school career, in a 5-1 defeat of Amity. The Titans also tied both Lyman Hall and Guilford and lost 3-2 to Cheshire. Drew DePodesta, Andrew Vaill and Rocco Ocone-Krause had goals for the Rams.
– Senior Drew Scalia scored four times, lifting Masuk past East Haven Co-op 5-3. Scalia also had a goal in the Panthers’ 9-1 rout of Milford Co-op, which pushed their win streak to eight.
– Mike Farricielli contributed a hat trick as Branford defeated rival North Branford 4-3.
– Junior Blake Baksey had two third-period goals, including an empty-netter, to propel Fairfield Prep past SCC rival Xavier 5-2. James Heber recorded the win in net.
– Buoyed by a pair of shorthanded goals, Tri-Town evened its record at 5-5 with a 3-2 victory over New Milford.
– Conard defeated rival Hall 5-2 for its 12th straight victory, getting two goals from Nolan Trent and one apiece from Jack Hodgson, Aiden Emery and Torin McGolderick.

– Wethersfield stayed hot, edging South Windsor 1-0 behind a shutout from Matt Ruck. The Eagles (7-4) have now won four straight and seven of their last eight.
– Senior Kevin Rich had a hat trick, however Daniel Hand lost to Cheshire 7-5. Will Gaudet and Evan Vasiljevs scored two goals apiece for Cheshire. The Tigers responded with a 6-3 victory over Hamden, which dropped to 0-11.
