Doug Bonjour joined Hockey Night in Boston in November 2022. He has covered high school and college sports in Connecticut for more than a decade, including stints as the UConn women’s basketball and UConn football beat reporter for Hearst Connecticut Media. During his time reporting on the 11-time national champion Huskies, he covered three NCAA Final Fours. He previously was a general assignment reporter for GameTimeCT and the Connecticut Post, and covered high school sports statewide, including boys hockey. #1 Newington remains unbeaten and has allowed only three goals through three games,

Conard stays at #2 after edging Cheshire in overtime.

With nine goals through two games, #3 New Milford looks as advertised offensively.

Staples climbs three spots to #4 after beating Brookfield/Bethel/Danbury 7-4.

#5 BBD is headed for Maine for games this week against Gorham and Yarmouth.

#6 Enfield/East Granby/Stafford was oh so close to beating Newington. Maybe next time.

Hall joins this week’s rankings at #7 with a huge game against Conard on tap on Monday.
