Doug Bonjour joined Hockey Night in Boston in November 2022. He has covered high school and college sports in Connecticut for more than a decade, including stints as the UConn women’s basketball and UConn football beat reporter for Hearst Connecticut Media. During his time reporting on the 11-time national champion Huskies, he covered three NCAA Final Fours. He previously was a general assignment reporter for GameTimeCT and the Connecticut Post, and covered high school sports statewide, including boys hockey. Prior to that he was the managing/sports editor for the Westport News and Norwalk Citizen community weekly newspapers. He also has written for the Associated Press and New York Times. North Haven, the only undefeated team left in the state, maintains its grip on the #1 spot in the latest HNIB News Connecticut Division II Top 8. 

#2 Woodstock Academy scored a bunch of goals, rinse, repeat. 

#3 Westhill/Stamford picked up its first shutout of the season, beating Trumbull.

Wethersfield — now up to #4 in the rankings — looks like an entirely different team from weeks ago.

#5 Guilford lost its lone game this week, 8-3 to North Haven. 

On deck for #6 South Windsor is a road test against Farmington Valley.

Watertown/Pomperaug is exactly where it was last week — #7. 

Cheshire joins the poll at #8 following wins over Daniel Hand and Sheehan.
