There was little change in the Hockey Night in Boston Connecticut Division 3 rankings as most teams wrap up their regular-season schedules and prepare for the CIAC tournament, with pairings to be announced Friday.
E.O. Smith/Tolland stays in the No. 1 spot, including a win over a ranked Conard.
No. 2 Newington and No. 3 JBWA swept their games last week, as did New Milford, which moves up to No. 4.
SGWL drops to No. 5 and is a game under .500, but the Wildcats are 8-3 vs. D3 teams.
Despite the loss to E.O. Smith/Tolland, Conard remains at No. 6.
No. 7 Masuk and No. 8 BBD had mixed results last week, but round out the rankings.
The SCC/SWC D3 semifinals will be held Wednesday at the Shelton Rinks. No. 1 New Milford takes on No. 4 BBD at 7 p.m. (Upper Rink), and No. 2 JBWA vs. No. 3 Masuk at 7:30 (Lower Rink). The championship is Friday (8 p.m.) at Bennett Rink.
Also, the CCC South semifinals will include a rematch between E.O. Smith/Tolland and Conard (7:45, Freitas), as well as Newington and Enfield (4 p.m., Newington).
