Things remain solid at the top of this week’s HNIB News Connecticut Division 3 Top 10. The second half of the rankings? Teams continue to move around.

#1 Sheehan (8-2-0) rolled over JBWA (12-5) and New Milford (5-3) this past week. The Titans hope to continue their strong play Wednesday against #8 Tri-Town (4-5-0) and they host the Eastern Connecticut Eagles on Saturday.

#2 Lyman Hall/H-K/Coginchaug (6-2-0 ) pace with wins over New Milford (4-3) and Milford (8-1). The Trojans get #10 BBD (4-5-1) on Wednesday and then #6 Newtown (5-4-1) on Saturday in a pair of tough games.

#3 Daniel Hand (8-1-1), whose only loss is to Lyman Hall, downed North Branford Saturday (4-1) and Trinity Catholic Monday (5-1). They look ahead to a Friday date with Fairfield.

#4 Newington Co-op (6-2-0) split this week, edging Hall-Southington (5-4) and falling to D2 E.O. Smith (5-2). Opponents this week are Housatonic (Wednesday) and Milford (Saturday).

Rounding out this week’s top five is Wilton (5-0-1). The division’s lone unbeaten edged Staples (5-4) in overtime, its third OT game of the season. Norwalk-McMahon is on the docket Tuesday and D1 Greenwich on Thursday.
