#1 Daniel Hand (13-2-1) had a solid week picking up wins against JBWA (8-4) and Masuk (4-0). The Tigers get New Milford (Monday) and Newtown (Wednesday) before a showdown with Sheehan on Saturday.

#2 Sheehan (13-4-1) jumped up one spot. The Titans knocked off Lyman Hall/H-K/Coginchaug (5-1) for a big win Saturday. The Titans face Housatonic Wednesday.

#3 Lyman Hall (13-6-0) had a rough week, causing them to drop after losses to Branford (8-5) and Sheehan (5-1). The Trojans did bounce back Sunday with a 7-5 win over JBWA.

 #4 Newington Co-op (13-5-0) had a mixed week beating the Eastern CT Eagles (7-5) but fell to E.O. Smith (3-2).

#5 Wilton went 1-2 during the week. The Warriors were on the losing end against a pair of difficult foes in Darien (7-0) and Ridgefield (10-3). They finished the week with a convincing 7-2 triumph over Milford Co-op.

The duo - Lance LoFaro and Darby Yaeger - called the nightly broadcasts "Hockey Night in Boston". As of late, HNIBnews - over 30 years running - has kept the scholastic hockey world on its feet with its widely-read website HNIBnews.com. In addition to HNIBnews, Hockey Night in Boston runs MassHSHockey.com, and also hosts summer tournaments showcasing the talents of scholastic hockey.
