So far it appears as if no one can slow down #1 Ridgefield (13-0-0) which remained perfect with victories over Trumbull (5-1) and St. Joseph (8-0) this past week.

#2 Northwest Catholic (10-0-1) is also unbeaten and has a busy week ahead with three games versus ND-Fairfield (Wednesday), Smithfield (RI) (Friday) and Conard (Saturday). NWC got past Simsbury, 2-1, on Saturday.

#3 Darien (10-4-0) picked up a pair of wins over New Canaan (4-3) and Trinity Catholic (7-1). The Blue Wave have McMahon-Norwalk on Monday and Fairfield Warde/Ludlowe on Saturday. Darien has now won six straight games.

#4 New Canaan (8-6-0) split the week. After losing to Darien on Wednesday, the Rams managed to rebound with a triumph over Westhill-Stamford (5-2) Saturday. NC will take on Greenwich Academy (Monday) and Wilton (Friday) this week.

The duo - Lance LoFaro and Darby Yaeger - called the nightly broadcasts "Hockey Night in Boston". As of late, HNIBnews - over 30 years running - has kept the scholastic hockey world on its feet with its widely-read website HNIBnews.com. In addition to HNIBnews, Hockey Night in Boston runs MassHSHockey.com, and also hosts summer tournaments showcasing the talents of scholastic hockey.
