No. 1 Xavier keeps coming back. No. 2 Ridgefield keeps winning. The top two teams in Hockey Night in Boston’s Connecticut Division I top 10 remained the same, the Falcons winning twice and coming back to tie No. 5 Notre Dame-West Haven in the rematch, the Tigers besting New Canaan 3-1 in their second meeting.

Ridgefield is scheduled to get its own second shot at Notre Dame-West Haven on Monday and at No. 7 Fairfield Prep on Thursday. No. 3 New Canaan, which peppered St. Joseph with 65 shots but got only a tie out of it on Saturday, has Notre Dame-Fairfield on Monday; the Lancers visit Xavier on Saturday.

No. 4 Northwest Catholic is set to visit No. 6 Hamden on Wednesday. Northwest beat Conard this week; Hamden got big wins over East Haven and Mount St. Charles.

No. 8 West Haven, No. 9 Simsbury and No. 10 Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks all got the wins they needed this week, some easier than others. Suffield needed Austin Reid’s penalty-shot goal in overtime to beat Glastonbury.
