This week’s HNIB News Boys Prep Top 15 features the same group of teams from last week, although several teams are in different spots.

There is no change at the very top, however.

#1 Kimball Union (20-2-1) had its big game Friday with Holderness postponed due to weather, but did pick up a pair of wins over Northfield (2-0) and New Hampton (5-2). Next up: Andover (Wednesday), New Hampton (Friday), Holderness (Saturday).

#2 Avon Old Farms (16-1-0) doubled up Westminster (4-2) in its only game of the past week. Next up: Frederick Gunn (Wednesday), Deerfield (Saturday).

Continuing its climb up the rankings is #3 Salisbury (14-4-0). The Crimson Knights capped off another solid week with a 3-1 decision of Cushing, and also beat Brunswick (4-1) and Trinity Pawling (7-2). Next up: Kent (Monday), Taft (Wednesday), Loomis Chaffee (Saturday).

Same goes for #4 Belmont Hill (14-0-2). BH had wins over Lawrence Academy (5-1) and Rivers (4-1). Next up: St. Sebastian’s (Wednesday), Thayer (Friday), BB&N (Saturday).

After falling to Salisbury early in the week, #5 Brunswick (14-5-1) reeled off wins over Lawrenceville, Williston and Trinity-Pawling. Next up: Elite Hockey (Wednesday), Frederick Gunn (Friday), Berkshire (Saturday).

#6 St Sebastian’s (13-3-1) added to its win column with victories over Milton Academy (5-2) and St Mark’s (6-5), Next up: Belmont Hill (Wednesday), Lawrence Academy (Friday), Hoosac (Saturday).

#7 Cushing (11-3-3) did have win over Hoosac. Next up: Winchendon (Wednesday), St. Mark’s (Friday), Canterbury (Saturday).

#8 Dexter Southfield (11-5-3) was tied up by Pomfret and then lost to Andover (4-3). Next up: New Hampton (Wednesday), Rivers (Friday).

A one-goal win over Exeter was the lone decision for #9 Holderness (15-1-1). Next up: Tilton (Wednesday), Kents Hill (Friday), Kimball Union (Saturday).

#10 Exeter (11-5-2) rebounded from the Holderness loss with a 4-2 win over Tilton. Next up: Proctor (Wednesday), Albany Academy (Friday), Choate (Saturday).

Making up the rest of the rankings are #11 Kent (11-6-0), #12 Nobles (11-5-1), #13 St. Mark’s (11-4-2), #14 Pomfret (10-4-3), #15 Northfield Mt. Hermon (10-5-2).
