LAWRENCEVILLE (15-11-3)
Coach: Keith Dupee
A pretty good group returns in the forward lines for the Big Red, so they should be a good offensive team. They once again will play a diverse schedule, including many games against New England preps. Lawrenceville will also host the annual Lawrenceville Tournament December 16-18.
Senior Eric Vivinetto spearheads an offense that also will look to senior Liam Mathews, juniors Lucas DiMarco and Luke Benitez, and sophomore Ryan Ding. A key post-grad added to the lineup is Sean Garrity (Hingham, MA HS). New junior Porter Byrd-Leitner will have a role.
On defense, senior Harrison Bylin will be a leader. Two more key returners are senior Lucas Robin and junior Tiernan O’Rourke. Defenseman additions are junior DJ Parouse (LA Jr. Kings) and junior Stavros Tzougarakis (Kuper Academy).
In the nets, senior Richard Smith and junior Kyle Ozgun are both back after seeing solid time between the pipes for the Big Red last year.
HILL SCHOOL (17-12-3)
Coach: Sean O’Brien
The Blues are off to an impressive 8-2-2 start this winter. They are looking forward to play in their new league – The TNPHL. Coach O’Brien’s team will face several of the top New England preps this season, including matches with Kimball Union and Avon Old Farms this week.
Key returners up front for Hill are seniors Ryan Kearney, Nick Jarmain, Lucas Zimovcak and Will Schneider. Three new juniors who will be counted on include Chris Stackhouse, Colby Dobek and George Acklin.
Senior Caden Olenczak and junior Jack O’Brien are defensive cornerstones. Post-grad Tommy McDonough (Madbury, NH) will see quality time.
RPI commit Ryan Sanborn, a senior, will handle the bulk of the goaltending duties.
WYOMNG SEMINARY
Coach: Justin Lyle
With solid returners in all three positions, the Knights will be hard team to play against, says second-year coach Lyle.
Leaders up front project to be seniors Alexis Billequey, Mathis Pellerin and Anthony Petrick, and returning sophomore Jagar MacDonald. A good group of additions sees post-grad Olivier van der Groen, juniors Daniel Svozil and Yoan Gagnon, sophomore Colin Donovan and freshmen Heli William De Seve Elliott and Andrew Tsui.
On defense, senior Ford Boock anchors a veteran crew that also features seior David Taylor, senior Xavier Beaulac and junior Lucas Vitello. Adding his talents will be post-grad Jason Shapiro.
The team returns a pair of solid senior goaltenders in Caleb Chabot and Matthew Spera.
