Boys Prep Highlights: One-goal wins for Avon, Westminster

Patrick Dawson

– Avon Old Farms shaded Deerfield 3-2 with goals from Nick Keroack, Tyler Madden and Mac Wiseman.

– Goals by John Hunt, P.J. Roy, Tasso Housakos and Patrick Dawson were enough for Westminster to edge Pomfret, 4-3.

Mitch Nenninger

– Two goals apiece from John Chapman and Casey Rhodes powered Albany Academy to a 5-1 win over Hebron.

– Brooks blanked St. George’s, 3-0, in the Eberhart Division. Mitch Nenninger, Max Rand and Jackson Allard each had a goal for the Bishops.

– St. Sebastian’s downed Lawrence Academy 5-3 as Liam Gorman had a hat trick. The Arrows also had goals from P.J. Murphy and Rory Casey.

Jack Rathbone‘s second goal. coming with 17 seconds left in regulation, allowed Dexter to tie Tabor, 3-3. Jay Cote, Pat Daly and Ed Hannon each had a goal for Tabor.

– Belmont Hill registered its third straight shutout win, blanking BB&N 3-0 with goals by Mike Brown, Max Fields and Peter O’Connell.

– Nobles took down rival Milton Academy 4-1 as Ben Rice, Pat Moynihan, Jerry Harding and John Murray each scored once.

Tao Ishizuka had the lone goal as Governors Academy tipped St. Paul’s 1-0 in the Keller Division.

– Salisbury defeated Loomis Chaffee 3-1. Nick Hale, Jacques Bouqout and Riley Johnson each had a goal for the Crimson Knights.

Roope Hirvonen scored two goals and Thomas Samuelson and Mike Lombardi each had one as Kimball Union shut out Holderness, 4-0.

Colin Cobb and Kyle DelMaestro scored the goals in Kent’s 2-2 tie with Trinity Pawling.
