Boys Prep Highlights: Lawrence Academy Takes Down Nobles

* Lawrence Academy remained unbeaten with a convincing 8-2 win over Nobles in the Keller Division. Sam Colangelo scored two goals and David Sacco had a goal and two assists for the Spartans.

* Brunswick doubled up Millbrook, 4-2, led by a hat trick from Charles Shaffer, the third goal an empty-netter, and a goal from Ryan St. Louis.

* #3 Avon Old Farms edged Hotchkiss 3-1 with goals from Stefan Miklakos, Gentry Shamburger and Moe Acee.

Jason Kleinhans

* Northfield Mt. Hermon slipped past Berkshire, 2-1, thanks to goals from Reese Farrell and Joe Dee.

Nate Schuman

* Five different scorers – Jason Kleinhans, Ian Pierce, Mike Kwiecinski, Michael Posma and Alex Laferriere – powered Kent to a 5-3 win over Trinity Pawling.

* Tyler Bourque notched a pair of goals to lead Pomfret to a 3-1 win over Winchendon.  Noah Schuman also had a goal and Peyton Durand made 21 saves between the pipes.

* #1 Salisbury won its ninth straight game, defeating Cushing, 5-1. Bayard Hall led the attack with two goals. Jake Quillan, Matt Coronato and Ilya Usau also had goals for the Crimson Knights.

* Jared Arnold had a hat trick to lead Middlesex to a 4-2 conquest of Portsmouth Abbey. Kyle Heath had the other goal for the Zebras.

* Surging St. Paul’s stayed hot with an 8-1 win over BB&N.  Malcolm Bussey and Michael Stoddard each had a pair of goals for the Big Red.

* Westminster skated to a 3-3 tie with Taft. Wyatt Pastor, Jordie McKenna and Malik Alishlalov each had a goal for the Martlets.

* Kimball Union blanked Vermont Academy, 7-0. Sullivan Mack led the scoring attack with three goals. Also scoring for KUA was Paul Dore, Tomas Mazura, Brian Carrabes and Donte Pierre.

Alex Robert

* A three-goal third period powered Holderness to a 4-2 win over Berwick. Jake Waterman had the game-winner for the Bulls, and Kevin Pitts scored twice. Isaiah Fox added an empty net tally.

* Deerfield took care of Loomis Chaffee 5-2. Mike Holland, Alex Robert, Sasha Shogren, Eamon Doheny and Noah de la Durantaye each had a goal.

* St. Mark’s shaded Roxbury Latin, 2-1. Jackson Coutu and Danny Ciccarello both scored a goal for the Lions.
