Boston Bandits sound in all three zones


Sound play in all three zones and across all phases has the Bandits in good shape as December approaches. An effective attack and solid defense has produced a +16 differential.

Matt Baldino (8-12-20) and Alex Bonito (9-10-19) are the leaders of a well-balanced forward group that includes Bryan Komasara (9 goals), Eric Salzillo (8 goals), Wilson Ray and Freddy Gerard.

Ryan Hubbard (.915) most often gets the call in goal, backed by Billy Palmer. Matt Michalke, Shayne Bailey, Andy Price, Matt Ho and Martin Chrkavy form a stout group of stay-at-home defensemen.

In 1972, two lifetime high school hockey fans started a weekly broadcast of Greater Boston high school games on WBOS-FM (92.9). The duo - Lance LoFaro and Darby Yaeger - called the nightly broadcasts "Hockey Night in Boston". As of late, HNIBnews - over 30 years running - has kept the scholastic hockey world on its feet with its widely-read website HNIBnews.com. In addition to HNIBnews, Hockey Night in Boston runs MassHSHockey.com, and also hosts summer tournaments showcasing the talents of scholastic hockey.
