At this point, it seems relatively safe to say a fair number of Division I clubs are OK with the fact that No. 1 Woodstock dropped down this winter. The Wasps remained unbeaten Saturday as they rattled Brattleboro 5-0. Their lone game this week is Wednesday against surging Lyndon Institute.

No. 2 Harwood edged Milton, 3-2, in a Top 5 matchup. The Highlanders head to Mt. Mansfield Saturday with the jockeying for post-season positioning now under way in earnest.

No. 3 Mt. Mansfield handled North Country, 5-1, on Saturday. In addition to their mid-week date with Harwood, the Cougars head to Northfield on Friday.

No. 4 Milton split games, upending Hartford before losing to Harwood. The Yellowjackets have a rematch at Hartford Monday.

No. 5 Lyndon Institute climbs back into the Top 5 on the strength of a four-game winning streak that included Saturday’s 3-2 win against St. Johnsbury. The Vikings are at Woodstock Wednesday and return home to face Hartford Saturday
