No. 1 Concord has shot out to a dominant start, surrendering only two goals to date. The Crimson Tide – as will most NHIAA programs – engage in holiday week tournament play before resuming league play with a visit to fellow unbeaten Pinkerton on Jan. 2.

No. 2 Pinkerton jumps two spots after handling its first four opponents to the tune of a 25-3 margin. That test with Concord looms after the holiday break and will help shape the race.

No. 3 Hanover rolled through it first three opponents, amassing a +23 differential, but drops a spot after Saturday’s 4-2 loss to Bishop Guertin.

No. 4 Bedford responded to an early tie with No. 7 Londonderry by overpowering Manchester Memorial and Exeter. The Bulldogs resume NHIAA play on Jan. 5.

No. 5 Bishop Guertin overcame an 0-2 start and leveled its record with Saturday’s impressive win against Hanover. The Cardinals head to Rhode Island for the Mount St. Charles Classic during holiday break.
