St. Dom’s 1, Portland/Deering 0
Dominic Chasse potted the only goal as St. Dom’s defeated Portland/Deering. His goal came at the 5:22 mark of the second period which was assisted by Hunter Hughes. Gaston Fuksa stopped all 28 shots he faced for the Saints. Ben McCallum was equally impressive for the Bulldogs as he had 26 saves in the losing effort.
Falmouth 6, Cheverus 4
Owen Drummey scored half of Falmouth’s goals. Marcus Cady had a goal and an assist for the Yachtsmen while Jack Kidder and Theo Hembre also had a goal. Cheverus chipped away at Falmouth’s 5-0 lead in the third period scoring all four of their goals. Jackson Wilson and Justin Ray each had a pair of goals for the Stags.
Falmouth 2, Cheverus 1
Sam Kidder stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced as Falmouth defeated Cheverus. Garrett Tracey and Tyler Baker put the puck in the back of the net for the Yachtsmen. Colby Anton scored for the Stags while Brandon Halverson made 32 saves in the loss.
Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach/Bonny Eagle 5, Windham/Westbrook 0
Dillon Tozier had a pair of goals to pace Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach/Bonny Eagle. Cam Goodrich had a goal and assist while Alex Demers and Tyler Ouellette had a goal each. Bryson Pomerleau and Gavin Corey combined to make nine saves for the shutout. Aidan Drew and Sean White combined to make 25 stops in the losing effort.
Lewiston 3, Bangor 1
Three Blue Devils scored as Lewiston prevailed in a Class A North clash. Cam Dionne and Jack Leblond gave Lewiston a 2-0 lead in the first period. Hunter Neade cut the deficit in half at the 3:25 mark of the second period. Alex Robert added an unassisted insurance goal at the 7:50 mark of the middle frame.
Falmouth 6, St. Dom’s 2
Theo Hembre scored twice to lead the Yachtsmen. Brendan Hickey had a goal and a helper. Louis Mainella, Owen Drummey and Jack Kidder also scored in the victory. Hunter Hughes and Will Fletcher scored for the Saints.
Yarmouth 5, Kennebunk/Wells 0
Dom Morrill had two goals to pace Yarmouth. Joe Truesdale and Matt Sanborn also scored while Dan Latham earned the shutout.
Greely 8, Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison 1
Jake MacDonald had a hat trick and an assist in Greely’s victory. Jackson Williams and Matt Kramlich each had a goal and an assist. Dawson Jewett, Luke Stetson and Caleb Duff all had a goal each in the victory. Luke St. Hilaire scored for the Hawks.
Cape Elizabeth 6, Kennebunk/Wells 3
Gavin Simopolous had a pair of goals to spark the Capers. Ryan Collins, Philip Tarling, Alex Glidden and Matthew Laughlin scored in the victory. Jacob Sullivan factored in all three goals for Kennebunk/Wells with two goals and a helper.
York 3, Brunswick 2
Andrew Bertolini gave York the overtime victory. Brunswick sent the game to the extra session scoring twice in the final nine minutes of the third period. Andrew Eno got the Dragons on the board and set up Jack St. Pierre’s tying goal Dalton McCann and Spencer Pickett also scored for York. Keenan Gamache made 23 saves in the win while Riley Irk stopped 39 in the losing effort.
