Maine Class B Top 10
Old Town/Orono remains the No. 1 team in Class B with a 10-0 victory over Messalonskee on Saturday. They travel to face Bangor on Wednesday and to Presque Isle on Friday.
No. 2 Greely could be considered 1B as the Rangers are keeping pace with Old Town/Orono. This week they picked up a pair of 8-3 victories over Class A opponents Falmouth and Biddeford. They host Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison/Spruce Mountain on Wednesday and Brunswick on Saturday.
Presque Isle moves up to No. 3 with a 4-0 victory over Maranacook/Winthrop/Madison/Spruce Mountain and a 5-4 victory over John Bapst on Saturday. Their lone game of the week is against Old Town/Orono.
Gorham slides one spot as they opened the new year with a 6-4 win over Brunswick on Wednesday and a loss to Edward Little on Saturday. Right now they are scheduled to face York Tuesday and Scarborough on Wednesday.
No. 5 Cape Elizabeth picked up victories over Yarmouth (2-1) on Wednesday and Leavitt/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill/Poland (7-2) on Saturday. They host York on Thursday and travel to Cheverus on Saturday.
Camden Hills moves up to No. 6 with a 3-2 victory over Waterville/Winslow on Saturday. They travel to Brewer on Saturday.
Waterville/Winslow drops a spot with the loss to Camden Hills, they also picked up a 5-3 win over Hampden Academy on Wednesday. They host Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook/Katahdin on Saturday.
Gardiner slides up a spot with a 5-2 victory over York on Tuesday and a 5-1 victory over Brunswick Saturday. They host Brunswick in a rematch on Thursday and travel to Leavitt/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill/Poland on Saturday.
Brunswick falls to No. 9 with the losses to Gorham and Gardiner. The tough schedule continues with the games against Gardiner and Greely this week.
John Bapst rounds out the top ten as they defeated Hampden Academy 3-2 on Friday before losing to Presque Isle on Saturday. They host Lawrence/Skowhegan/MCI on Friday and Messalonskee on Saturday.
