No. 1 Lewiston has now outscored its rival St. Dom’s 19-1 this season after a 10-0 victory over the Saints Friday night. They host Biddeford on Wednesday before traveling to Biddeford’s archrival Thornton Academy on Saturday afternoon.
No. 2 Falmouth defeated St. Dom’s 10-0 on Monday before falling to Scarborough on Wednesday 4-2. They bounced back Saturday with a 4-3 victory over Thornton Academy. They have Portland/Deering on Saturday.
No. 3 Cheverus defeated Yarmouth 3-2 on Tuesday and Brunswick 5-1 on Thursday. The Stags have Noble/Wells on Wednesday and host Scarborough on Saturday.
No. 5 Bangor took care of business on Wednesday in its lone game of the week with a 5-0 victory over John Bapst. They have rival Brewer on Wednesday and Cape Elizabeth on Friday.
No. 6 Scarborough started the week with the 4-2 victory over Falmouth and ended it with a 2-0 win over Biddeford on Saturday. Only game this week is against Cheverus.
No. 7 Cony/Hall-Dale/Monmouth swept their two games of the week. They defeated Edward Little 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday while they defeated Windham/Westbrook 6-2 on Saturday. They have this week off.
No. 8 Portland/Deering defeated Thornton Academy 2-1 on Monday, tied Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard 3-3 on Thursday and defeated Noble/Wells 5-2 on Saturday. They host Thornton on Thursday and Falmouth on Saturday.
No. 9 St. Dom’s had a tough week as they opened the week with a 10-0 loss to Falmouth on Monday and that 7-5 loss to Biddeford in addition to losing 10-0 to Lewiston. They travel to Yarmouth on Tuesday before taking on on Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill/Leavitt on Saturday.
No. 10 Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill/Leavitt defeated Windham/Westbrook 5-1 on Wednesday. In addition to their game against the Saints they have Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse on Wednesday.
