Brooks survived its run of three straight Division 1 opponents, going 1-1-1, losing only to D1’s top team – Tabor (7-3) – in a game that had a one-goal difference heading into the third period. The Bishops (8-1-2) remain at #1 in this week’s HNIB News Girls Prep D2 Top 10.

#10 Tilton and Proctor provide the opposition this week.

A 3-0 shutout win propels St. George’s (6-2-2) to #2 this week ahead of #3 Rivers (6-3-1). The Dragons also beat Dexter Southfield, while the Red Wings rebounded to nip Winchendon (2-1).  St. George’s has Portsmouth Abbey (Monday) and Governor’s Academy (Saturday). Rivers takes on BB&N Wednesday and Groton Friday.

Worcester Academy (8-3-2) is at #4 this week, taking down Portsmouth Abbey (7-1) after a 1-1 deadlock with Groton. The Hilltoppers look ahead to Pomfret (Friday) and North Yarmouth Academy (Saturday).

The rest of the rankings are a crap-shoot. It remains to be seen if a couple of the ranked teams to go on a run.

One note: Holderness (8-5-0), unranked last week, is at #6 after a week that included wins over Tilton and Kimball Union, and a close one-goal loss to D1 New Hampton.
