Final Girls D1 Prep Rankings: #1 New Hampton has 30-win season

New Hampton School won its first ever New England Girls D1 Prep title, the 3-1 championship game win over Kent School the Huskies 30th win of the season.

They take the #1 spot in HNIB News final Girls D1 Prep rankings.

Runner-up Kent (20-2-2) entered the post-season at #1 in our poll and posted a pair of quality post-season wins before falling to New Hampton. The Lions finish at #2.

#3 Loomis Chaffee (21-4-1) was the top seed entering the post-season. The Pelicans had a tense win over Lawrence Academy in the quarterfinal round, and then dropped a one-goal game to New Hampton in the semifinals.

#4 Nobles (25-4-1) was right there as well, taking Kent to triple overtime in the semifinals.

Tabor (19-5-2) rounds out the Top 5.
